Wonderful fresh meat only disappointed that the fillet steak was not hung
It's a proper farm shop. Boxes of vegetables, fresh meat served by butchers, cooked meat served on a deli counter, and one or two other things like chutneys, drinks, all things food. If you want a fancy coffee shop and high prices then this is probably the wrong place, but for cheerful Yorkshire goodness then it's probably the right place
Super home fed meats and lovely home baking, the quality is superb and so tasty. Fab for large joints at Christmas parties they will roast and carve for easy carefree parties. Great team
We're talking serious meat here and the best sausages for miles around! The pies are delicious and fresh produce prices are extremely competitive. The butchers will always accommodate exactly what you ask for and the ladies on the tills are cheerful souls. We love shopping at Hague's and honestly can't fault it.
High quality steaks and bacon. Eggs realistically priced. Wonderful Home made bread especially wholemeal teacakes. Can you buy better pork pies any where else? Excellent friendly service. Only complaint - Why don't you make your own Black Pudding? Also could you do smaller vegetable packs for single people and pensioners please.
