Really bugs me when you turn up at the dentists to he told they are running an hour late. If I turned up 5 minutes late my appointment would be cancelled and I would be charged for the priveledge of being late, but it seems the dentist is welcome to mess you around as much as they want. I've noticed that each time I'm late, it seems that emergency patients have been booked into my appointment slot.This is really unfair to me, I book my appointment 3-6 months in advance, I take time from work, I turn up on time, and then I'm told the dentist is running an hour late, unfortunately, I am employed and have a job, and I don't have the time to sit around waiting because someone has been booked into my spot it's very unfair and simply means the practice is putting other patients health before mine and messing me about.This has happened with every appointment I have had with my dentist over the past 2 years - with the receptionist usually looking at me as though I'm in the wrong for not being willing to sit around.
