I had so many lovely comments about my dress and thats all down to Alison for showing me the dress from what I told her I was thinking of and seamstress Zena for her amazing alteration work. I was a bit nervous and not sure what to expect. I went in with a long list of things I didn't want, but I didn't have a very good idea of what kind of dress I did want. It didn't help that I am a bit of a tomboy and I didn't really want a traditional dress.Alison was very patient and helpful and I was so pleased to say a big yes to my (lovely, non traditional) dress!

I went to Alison Jane Bridal in October in the search for my wedding dress! Alison made myself and my bridesmaid at ease straight away, she was really welcoming and didnt put me under any pressure at all! After finding 3 dresses I actually loved I went away and returned a couple of weeks later and purchased my dream dress! This lady is amazing and has a lovely little boutique! I can't wait to go back when my dress arrives. Would definetley recommend all brides to visit Alison's bridal shop!
I had such a wonderful experience at Alison Jane Bridal!My day started off at another dress shop, with multiple girls trying on their dresses at the same time... and I ended up comparing myself to the very pretty girl next to me. We left that shop without finding the one and went to Mirfield for lunch. My maid of honour googled local dress shops and came across alison jane bridal. From then on it was fate, they had an appointment which hadn't turned up so could squeeze me in last minute.To have the one to one personal experience whilst wedding dress shopping was so much better for me. Julie was so lovely and helpful! An overwhelming morning turned into an afternoon where I couldn't stop smiling. Julie was so patient with me and let me prance around the shop in my dress.. try every veil and accessory too! It was a perfect day and they have been brilliant with me every time since.
